I have been loving a good few things this month, most of them beauty. So I thought I would share them, as it’s always nice getting product recommendations.
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
This is the most beautiful shade of bronzer for fair skin tones. It has a lovely matte finish, perfect for contouring, or for creating a realistic sun kissed glow. I love that the coverage is very buildable, and who can resist makeup that smells like chocolate!
It Cosmetics CC Cream
Now, I made a rookie error with this one. In the high hope that my face would get a tan, I bought the CC cream in Light, rather than Fair. It really is a little too dark for me, and so I have to blend it right down my neck to make it work. However, it still looks great and gives the most wonderful, smooth application. It’s super moisturising and dewy, and looks great all through the day. Plus, that SPF 50 is a major bonus. I am definitely going to repurchase this in my correct shade!
Tarte Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush
This is what I use to apply the CC cream. It’s so great for buffing the foundation into the skin, and gives a fantastic airbrush finish. I have even ditched my faithful beauty blender in favour of it!
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop
I’ve talked about this one before, so I won’t go into too much detail. I still can’t get enough of this, and love the beautiful glow it gives me. I would love to try some of the other shades, such as Moonstone.
Avène Hydrance Serum
Since being told my skin was dehydrated, rather than dry, I wanted to get a serum that could optimise the water getting into my skin as much as possible. I have tried the Indeed Laboratories Hyaluronic Acid serum, but wanted to try something new. I love how this has made my skin feel – I put it on every night under my Cetaphil moisturiser, and it’s working a treat so far.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is now available on Netflix in Australia, and has since become my go-to show to binge watch. I particularly love to watch it at the gym – makes the 45 minute walk go so much faster! Watching it for the second time, now I’m older, I have realised just how real it gets sometimes. I love that it’s a really funny show that tackles real social issues, most of which are still relevant and important today.
Game of Thrones Season 6 comes out soon, and I am only on Season 2. My boyfriend has said he won’t wait for me, and will be watching it every week, and because I get FOMO I have to catch up so I can watch it with him when it comes out. Although all the multiple storylines can be a little difficult to keep track of, and God help me when it comes to the names of all the characters, I am really enjoying the story so far.
So those are my favourites for the month of March, since April has begun, I’ve already fallen in love with some more things. What have you been loving this month?
