My Gym Bag Beauty Essentials

Now, the gym isn’t exactly somewhere I expect to feel my most attractive – within 5 minutes I have a bright red face and am covered in sweat – but I do have basic standards I like to keep up. There are a few things I always keep in my gym bag to make sure I look and feel like I at least somewhat resemble a human being, despite looking like a tomato.

  1. Nivea Stress Protect Anti-perspirant Roll On – At home, I use a deodorant I picked up in the states, but I wanted to have something small and easy in my gym bag for a touch up after I have finished working out. I love the smell of this one and it really does the job.
  2. Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes – I like to use these to wipe the sweat off my face to help keep pesky breakouts at bay. Plus they are normally pretty cool, which feels fabulous on my hot red face.
  3. The Wet Brush – Seriously the best hairbrush I have ever owned. I have a couple of these now, and made sure I picked up a travel size version to keep on me at all times. I like to give my hair the once over before and after I work out, as it can get pretty dry and tangled.
  4. Batiste Dry Shampoo (not pictured) – This is the best dry shampoo ever, and perfect for when you may not be heading straight home after the gym and may want to grab a bite to eat first.

As a rule I don’t wear any makeup to the gym, but I thought that it might be useful to share what things I do use to indulge my product junkie ways whilst keeping fit. Sometimes, I like to keep some haircare samples on me, just in case I need to shower. I might do a separate post on that later.
