Ok, I think I’ve actually done it – I’ve made the yummiest smoothie ever. I thought I’d tried adding strawberries to a smoothie before and it tasted horrible, but I think these ones were at their ripest and tastiest. The perfect breakfast / snack. I used greek yoghurt for extra protein, but I guess if you like you could add some vanilla protein powder if that’s something you like to do.
1 ripe banana
3 large strawberries, destalked and cut in half
1-2 tablespoons of greek yoghurt
a handful of ice cubes
- Put the banana, strawberries, yoghurt, ice in a blender. Add the almond milk to your desired consistency. I have a NutriBullet, and add it to the ‘max’ line on the smaller cup.
- Blend!! Serve over a couple more ice cubes if you’d like it a little colder.
